The Royal Group Announces Winning Three Awards in the 2025 Shop! Outstanding Merchandising Achievement (OMA) Awards Competition

The Outstanding Merchandising Achievement (OMA) Awards, now in their 67th year, are the Marketing at Retail Industry’s most prestigious, largest, and longest-running awards contest. Award: Gold

The interactive display for tonies® was designed to enhance the shopping experience by using audio to engage and educate shoppers, helping them make confident, informed decisions. Featuring custom-colored vacuum-formed modules and an integrated computer board for smooth playback, the display balanced durability, cost, and sustainability. Materials like styrene and vacuum-formed parts ensured it could handle both shipping and in-store use. The result was a visually striking, well-engineered unit that effectively showcased the tonies® brand through thoughtful design and efficient production.

HiSmile Quick Set Endcap for CVS

Award: Silver
Category & Division: Drug Store – Retailer – Permanent


The Design team developed a sustainable, durable display for HiSmile, an oral care brand known for its sleek, color-coded packaging. The display was designed to last at least six months instore and align with HiSmile’s sustainability values. Emphasizing minimalism, the eco-friendly display featured streamlined graphics on a bright white background to complement and highlight the playful product packaging without overshadowing it.

Kiss Endcap

Award: Silver
Category & Division: Drug Store – Retailer – Temporary


TRG Design developed a Halloween-themed display that
showcased KISS’s values of ethics, excellence, and quality, while highlighting a variety of SKUs. Designed for visual impact and easy assembly, the team transformed a standard endcap into an immersive, festive experience with bold colors, 3D elements, and digitally printed graphics. Prioritizing durability and cost-efficiency, the engineering and manufacturing process ensured structural integrity and streamlined setup. The result was an eye-catching, practical display that elevated the in-store experience and effectively communicated the brand’s vision.
